EASY TRAVEL LOOK
LOCATION: FORT WORTH • FEBRUARY 24, 2017
I’m always traveling for work and take the occasional leisurely trip when I can so it’s important for me to have an easy, go-to travel outfit that doesn’t require a lot of effort. It really depends on where I’m traveling but for the most part it’s typically a version of this look I’m sharing today. My look usually consists of a soft/cashmere cardigan, t-shirt, jeans, comfortable shoes and a jacket/coat if I’m heading somewhere cooler. Since I travel often for work, it’s important that I still look put together and not like I just rolled out of bed which is why having a default easy travel look is key. This cashmere cardigan paired with these simple block heels (that are extremely comfortable) do just the trick!
I recently wrapped this long silk scarf around my bag handles for a spring feel. I’m loving the pop of pink it adds to the classic Goyard colors not to mention it protect my leather handles while I’m on the go.
These Jeffery Campbell shoes are my favorite recently! Since I ordered them I have been wearing them so, so much. When I’m not traveling for work I’ll typically stick to a ballet style flat like these, these or these or a comfortable loafer like these, these or these. Sadly, I never got into the whole athleisure trend although I wanted to badly, sneakers and jeans just didn’t look flattering on me. Which is why I’ve stuck with a classic comfortable low heel or flat. If you can pull of the sneaker trend I say go for it!
